How does bulk licensing work?

You purchase a block of training licenses at a discounted rate. Each license covers one employee for the full course, exam, and certificate. From your manager dashboard, you invite employees by email — they create an account and start training. You can assign licenses as you need them; there’s no time limit.

Do licenses expire?

No. Licenses never expire. You can purchase them today and assign them to employees whenever you need — next week or next year. This is especially useful for businesses with seasonal hiring.

Can I add more licenses later?

Yes. You can purchase additional licenses anytime. If your team has grown into a higher volume tier, the new pricing applies to your additional purchase.

What if I don’t want to pay for employee training?

You can set up your account with a company code that employees use to pay for their own training. They still appear in your dashboard with full progress tracking, certificate access, and expiration alerts — you just don’t cover the cost. It’s a popular option for businesses that require certification but leave the expense to the employee.

What if some of my employees already have certificates?

You can upload existing food handler certificates to your dashboard — regardless of which provider they used. This gives you a complete compliance view in one place, with expiration tracking included.

Can I customize the training portal with my branding?

Yes. You can add your company logo and brand colors to the learner portal from your settings. Your employees will see your branding when they log in. It’s fully self-service — no support ticket or developer required.

What states is the training valid in?

Fenix Food Safety is ANAB-accredited under ASTM e2659. Our training is accepted by health departments nationwide, with state-specific courses for California, Texas, Arizona, Illinois, Utah, Hawaii, West Virginia, and New Mexico.
