SMS Terms

The terms of Fenix Food Safety training texts: what we send, how often, and how to stop.

Last updated October 12, 2026.

The program

Fenix Food Safety training texts are sent by FenixFoodSafety, a DBA of FenixLearning LLC, for food businesses that use Fenix Compliance to train their staff. When your employer assigns you food safety training, we text you a link to it, and remind you before and after it’s due. The link opens your training on your phone; there’s nothing to install and no password.

How you sign up

  • On your employer’s join page, by checking the box agreeing to receive training texts. The box is unchecked until you check it.
  • Or your employer records that you agreed. We then text you to confirm, and send no training by text until you reply YES.

Agreeing to texts is not a condition of employment or of any purchase. Without texts, your training reaches you by email or from your manager, who can show you its QR code. You can see exactly how signing up looks on our SMS opt-in page.

Messages you’ll receive

  • A confirmation when you sign up.
  • A link to each training your employer assigns you.
  • Reminders when a training is nearly due, when it’s overdue, and once more if it stays overdue.

Message frequency varies with the training your employer assigns: up to 4 messages per training, plus the confirmation when you sign up. Every message begins “Fenix Food Safety:” and links only to fenixfoodsafety.com addresses.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Fenix doesn’t charge you for texts. Ask your mobile carrier about your plan.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, and STOPALL work too. We’ll send one message confirming you’re unsubscribed, and nothing more. Your employer can’t turn texts back on for you: only you can, by replying START.

Help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at support@fenixfoodsafety.com or (801) 341-9394.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. How we use and protect your information, including your phone number, is in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may change these terms. We’ll post the new version here with its date, and if a change affects how we text you, we’ll tell you by text.
